Football Tournament
at Yara Center
For the second weekend in a row the Sask Selects Football program was hosting yet another tournament in Moose Jaw. This time though it was some tackle football. The Saskatchewan Selects hosted their newest addition to the Selects Family the Alberta Selects as well as the Manitoba Selects programs for their first ever indoor “Battle of the Prairies” Tackle Tournament over the January 29th and 30th weekend at the Yara Center in Moose Jaw.
The tournament consisted of four Varsity teams, as well as four 14U teams competing from the three provinces battling it out over two days to see who would be crowned the best of the prairies. After some intense hard hitting football the veteran Sask Selects programs were able to be crowned the Champions in both the U14 and Varsity Divisions.
